Birds of a feather...





Been working on a series on birds, taking the same 'chidiya' form ahead. I find that tetures are really fun but exhausting to do and these are not even as intricate as I would like them to be. These are all 8 inches by 5.5 inches. Poster colours on cartridge paper.

the sparrows are so intricate!lovelyhave you seen the books by TARA publishing done by tribal artists.?its very inspiring.reminded me of your work.sparrows can be animated na?maja ayga.

like the form of the sparrow. And the 1st one from the top looks really nice.Was wondering of you could make it a little brighter. Looks a little dull and dark at the moment.

how about cutting the shapes and sticking... a bit 3d may add to the whole scene
could be even white on white

hey Kavita Really liked those cute little birds...they r so nice....r u doing it for some one(publishing)they will look quite gorgeous if taken mat prints....try one...the colour schemes are also really really gud!!! keep posting more illustrations...
